I have held the same Job for 25 years, but I have some negative payment history. Can I still purchase a home in the South Bay. Employment status or employment history has nothing to do with your credit score, but some lenders may review it to determine if you are stable enough to repay a loan. Your income has nothing to do with credit scores. Your savings has nothing to do with your FICO's credit scoring equation. However, some lenders may consider these factors to determine the likelihood that you will default on a loan. I cannot get a loan due to poor credit. This is not true. There are many lenders who give loans for bad credit but charge high interest rates. Bad Credit never goes away. With sound debt-management practices, the negative marks will eventually vanish. Late payments, bankruptcies, foreclosures and collections typically remain on your credit report for seven years. (The exceptions are Chapter 7 bankruptcies and tax liens, which remain for 10 years and indefinitely, respectively.) All Credit scores are created equal. According to Nick Green, of the Daily Breeze, another big change in the wind. Costco has filed an application with the city to build a larger store with more parking. This will be built on the 23-acre parcel on Lomita Boulevard adjacent to its current location. The new store would total 161,500 square feet on 17.5 acres. The current store is 148,000-square-foot store and features 761spaces compared to the new store which will offer 874 parking spaces for the shoppers convenience. The other interesting part of this story is that Home Depot located in the Crossroads Shopping center is considering moving in to the old Costco once the new structure and the Costco move in complete which is across the street for Lowes. The transformation of the Northrop Grumman facility to the brand new Wiseburn High school in El Segundo has begun. wiseburnhigh school rendering By the time the project is complete it will house the new Wiseburn high school and the three DeVinci chater schools tht are currently in the Wiseburn school facilities. This is the first school being developed in the South Bay in 50 years. This is rather an innovative concept. The Wisburn Hgh School and the DeVinci schools will share the building and certain facilities while remaining independent. But will consolidate extra cucculat activities such as sports, band etc. Read More
This Saturday March 14, Kelsey Faith Potts of San Pedro, who would have turned 14. Tragically Kelsey died last fall from complications caused by a respiratory virus.
