Old Town Torrance Cannon

So I am perusing the NextDoor.com ap and I see this question about a cannon sitting atop the Law Center.  It was thought that maybe they received it from the old war memorabilia store after it closed down. (Which I wonder did it close down?). 

Anyway so I had to go see it for myself and sure enough just a bit down from the Fosters Freeze and across the street is a cannon!

I cannot tell you anything about cannons but I can about the Torrance real estate market. And Torrance. And things are always interesting.
