Photos From the Zamperini Memorial

On July 31 Torrance celebrated a great man and hometown hero. Louis Zamperini.

I attended the memorial at the field named after him and it was a beautiful event. Enjoy the photos.It is estimated over 1000 people attended.

“The public memorial service was held at the Zamperini Stadium at Torrance High School, his alma mater, and included flyovers, a symbolic lap around the track and public addresses from the late hero’s family.”
