South Bay Performing Arts

I recently mentioned the Theatre Co at 1316 Cabrillo Ave. But the South Bay also has other performing arts theaters that have terrific shows.

El Camino College has The   El Camino College Center for the Arts and is in their 46th season. They have presented timeless classics like the Nutcracker. As well as Tim Conway and Harvey Korman comedy

The Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center is at the old Aviation High School complex.  They have presented many top acts and plays over the years.

The center became one of controversy a couple years back as the Civic Light Orchestra was evicted by the city for a very large unpaid debt.  This was particularly scandalous since the orchestra is really what brought the center to prominence as an arts center in the South Bay.

However, the show must go on and it does in North Redondo Beach.
