This is the story of the expansion of LAX into the neighborhoods of Westchester and Playa del Rey under eminent domain told by the people who lived through it. 

We just recently discovered this video by a local on the LAX expansion and its effects on Playa del Rey and Westchester in about 1967.  Which cost 4,ooo to 5,000 homes and neighborhoods apart.  This is an addendum to our original article on the area.
