What a great place to live – Manhattan Beach
Beautiful homes, great surfing, excellent shopping, entertainment and overall fantastic standard of living. This is Manhattan Beach. We who live in Manhattan Beach know why we live here and are the first to brag about the reasons.
Manhattan Beach is a blend of “old small town” charm and big city sophistication.
One of the focal points of Manhattan Beach is the landmark Manhattan Beach pier. The pier is located in the middle of Manhattan’s quaint downtown area, with its many fine restaurants and small unique shops. All of this overlooks the blue Pacific and the pier. The other thing that make Manhattan Beach famous is its beautiful homes and diverse neighborhoods.
Manhattan Beach Real Estate is divided into the eastside and westsides of Sepulveda, or Pacific Coast Highway (PCH).
Homes that are 4 or 5 blocks in from the beach are considered to be in the Sand Section. Many streets in the Sand Section are “walkstreets”, which are for pedestrians only and highly sought after by homebuyers looking to move to the city.
Other Westside neighborhoods include the Tree Section and the Hill Section.
East side (eastside of PCH) neighborhoods include Manhattan Village, which is an upscale gated community, Liberty Village, Manhattan Heights, and the Mira Costa area.
No matter where you live in the wonderful city, you cannot find better real estate property options and prices that will fit everyone’s budget. Forbes Magazine has rated Manhattan Beach as having the best schools and being among cities in the U.S. with the best median home prices, ranging from $800K and up, Forbes rated MB as #1.
