What Will the Kids Do This Summer?

There is a new trend for the kids and young adults of late. Skateboard Parks.

A trend that got erased by lawsuits in the 70’s has re emerged in the 2014.

The South Bay had famous parks called The Runway in Carson, and Skateboard World in Torrance where the West End Racquet Club is today. 

Today there are parks in Hermosa Beach, Hawthorne, Alondra Park, Veterans Park in Carson, and Gardena’s South Park.  Except these days the boys and girls are riding skateboards, Skooters and even doing flips with BMX bikes.
