Whole Foods to Donate 5% of Sales to the Torrance Education Foundation
Torrance, CA -On Wednesday, March 8, 2017, Whole Foods Market in Torrance is holding a Community Support Day for the Torrance Education Foundation (TEF). Five percent of TOTAL sales on Wednesday, March 8th (only from the Torrance location) will be donated to TEF to provide support for the District’s educational programs. Proceeds from the Community Support Day will be used for TEF’s current project to purchase laboratory equipment, tools, and supplies for the new science labs being built at all 17 of the TUSD elementary schools.
TEF volunteers and staff will be at Whole Foods throughout the day to provide information about the organization. The Torrance Whole Foods is located at 2655 Pacific Coast Highway and store hours are 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
